Nirvana is...

Nirvana is…

An almost empty inbox. Took forever, but there it is. One outstanding customer issue and then it is “empty”.

This is how close I could get to know you :-) . I nearly attempted to click folders on the left.

Way to begin a New Year with an (empty - 1) inbox.

I've decided that the trend for 2006 is "500 messages is the new 0". Still waiting for the Thunderbird 1.5 official release before I migrate from Netscape Mail.

Absolutely, I could have it get my IMAP mail from over here, my POP mail from over there, and my other IMAP/POP account from that other place as well.

Tom:

This does not surprise me, when I saw that you answered my non-work related email within 5 minutes! I think you also have a lot to share beyond Oracle expertise, and that is Time Management, and Organization. I really don't know how you do it, and that is the theme from may of your fans. Seriously, that would be a popular talk coming from you, I'm sure.

I know you put all mail in the "ToLookInto" folder ;-) I miss Thunderbird. I love that email client, but after I opened my gmail account I stopped using it. One for the download mail I was having and second because Gmail label system rocks.

I thought Nirvana was a 90s grunge band?

Anyway, how many messages have you moved into "ToLookInto"?

Nirvana was also a band from the 60s but I think Tom meant this definition of Nirvana.

You have got to be kidding. But I tell you what, in the end, you end up with so many labels you can't really remember.

In that case then Tom, well done! The amount of email and blog comments you get is mind boggling. Do you have a life?

I guess more apt question to Tom would be.....

Are you human.......?
May be you are a robot created by Oracle to help people and thus help increase Oracle's Popularity..

Just kidding. Hope you would take it spirit

This post inspired me to clean up my inbox. A couple of hours ago, I had more than 1000 messages in my inbox. Now I've got 22. Thanks Tom!

Not sure what you mean - but if you are using thunderbird as a RSS reader - then you should get notified ONLY ONCE when an article is published (so every time I push out a new article, you should get notified, but that is it).

I don't know what you mean in the 2nd paragraph...
