OOW - Registration

Just registered at OOW. It'll be a long week. Put the finishing touches on the presentation and scripts... Everything seems to work now, but you know, I think software has a shelf life and can go stale (so i'll be testing them again)

This year doing something a little different - I'm going to co-present with Cary Millsap. Should be fun - but we do need to practice.

Anyway, I hope to get to meet with many people this year. They set up a book signing in the bookstore as well as two "meet" session - one on tuesday and another on thursday.

Tonight is the Oracle ACE dinner - looking forward to meeting some of the others I haven't met in person yet. Also Mark Rittman set up a "blogger" dinner on tuesday that promises to be fun (too much eating at these things).

As the week goes on, I'll be updating the site here with details...

P.S. According to Alberto Dell'Era, the book is shipping... And Amazon now ships "usually ships in ..." instead of "this book hasn't started shipping yet"!

I'm really sorry I had to turn down their invitation.

Connor and I were talking about OOW and it appears that it's going to be quite the social event this year with many members from the Oak Table Network being present.

Is it merely a coincidence that the initials of the Oak Table Network are OTN?

Will the Blog Dinner be at the Buena Vista? :-)

Or someplace better ....

Have a good time to all who are going!

Melanie -

sorry you cannot make it, the weather looks great for the entire week and there are a lot of people here indeed.

The blogger dinner is going to be at the Paragon Restaurant - beats Chevys across the street from the W :)

sounds like one of the few times I'd have liked to be at OOW -- seeing you and Cary co-present would be fun and that blogger dinner ... I'd love to put faces to names.

Have fun, I'm thinking the eating part of the conference won't be as much of a problem as the drinking part, especially if there will be a lot of Oak Table members there!

Delivery estimate: November 28, 2005 - November 30, 2005

That would only happen if no one knows you're going to be there.

P.S. Don't forget your helmet
