Testing BlogJet

I have installed an interesting application - BlogJet. It's a cool Windows client for my blog tool (as well as for other tools). Get your copy here: http://blogjet.com

"Computers are useless. They can only give you answers." -- Pablo Picasso

I thought that quote was funny given the movie I saw last night — 42, it is all about 42.  Ok, the above text came with the "demo". Trying out tools to create blog entries. This one looks promising.

It has a spell checker (definitely need that).

It says it will center text

Which is important

It can indent text and Insert links

  • We have bold
  • And underline
  • And lists of course

But can it do "code"

Yes it

Can And that is

Very important

I’ll try it out for the 30 day free evaluation and see how it works out. But, if you have any better ideas, let me know.

Off topic but...
I was reading this http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7937042/site/newsweek/(hmm bbc code doesn't work here) and it looks like NBC is taking your advice about proving things other than going off of hear say.

All I can say is "imagine that??!!" a news agency taking the time to ensure it's stories are true before they go shouting to the world what they've supposedly found. Wonder how long that's going to last?

http://www.nvu.com/

Taken from their FAQ page: Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") is a complete Web Authoring System that combines web file management and easy-to-use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) web page editing.

Hi Tom,

Regarding the code part, there is this pre tag which can be used to show code. Just put the code in between the pre tags and you get the code as it is.

Its better than the blockquotes.

Hope that helps.

Regards
